Behold The Glory Of This Twix Sandwich Spread

by Dasha Fayvinova

If you are a fan of Nutella, then I have some great news for you. Looks like the company that is responsible for Twix, The Mars Company, has created a Twix sandwich spread. Complete with real pieces of biscuit that we all cherish in the candy bar, and a caramel flavor that's to die for, this spread is already making me wish I could get a sample.

If you are wondering why this has not been invented yet, I don't have a good answer for you. But as long as the consumer stomach calls for a new product, companies will try to fill it. Just look at how Nutella has taken off in the last few decades! Growing up, I don't remember a chocolate hazelnut spread being a staple of my kitchen cabinets. Once I got a taste, you can bet that I was buying those jars by the bundle. That's why I am so excited about this new spread, I need a change! Plus, who doesn't want biscuits in their food? (Naysayers, SIT DOWN.)

Let us also not forget the amazing marketing done around the Twix candy bar. I still don't know if I am a left Twix or a right Twix girl. Is there even a difference? Should we be allocating scientific research funds into answering these questions? In the meantime, you can find me enjoying a spoonful of the new spread and wishing you were me. I hope this trend continues and we see these on shelves all over the United States.

This is the design for the Twix spread. Kind of looks like a pint of delicious ice cream. I would totally put it on a banana split. I bet it would taste amazing on a pie. Excuse me while I dry the drool slowly coming out of my mouth.

I feel like the above picture proves that foreign countries just have better food. Look at how many options for spreads they have. We should really be catching up as a country, since we are the ones that love making s'mores at camp fires. Imagine pulling out a dollop of this bad boy, and melting it with a hot marshmallow. If no one has thought of that yet, I would like for this to be the written application for a patent. I call that creation — The Dashanator.

Public reaction to this news has been overwhelmingly positive.

I would also like to put some man-hours behind research. I think this person and I would get along splendidly.

If you want to hear firsthand about this product, you can check out the review above. I will say, the glass jar really adds value and prestige to this item. (Not that it's going to last long, with me on the case.)
