Michelle Obama's Cuban Style Was On Point

by Melanie Richtman

The Obamas have been making quite the stylish impression while on their history-making trip to Cuba. Sasha and Malia have been garnering a lot of attention for their fashionable choices while on Spring Break (quite the Spring Break trip, I must say), but now the fashion media's attention is being shifted to their mother. Michelle Obama wore a beautiful Naeem Khan dress to the Cuban State Dinner.

The First Lady's dress was both stylish and appropriate for a very important state dinner with her husband, Cuban President Rual Castro, and a selection of diplomats. Not to mention the floral motif was more than perfect for spring. Michelle Obama paired her tropical print Naeem Khan dress with a simple pair of black pumps and pretty earrings.

It seems as though Naeem Khan is one of the Obama family's favorite designers, since Malia and Sasha wore the brand to their first state dinner earlier this month (Sasha even paired her gown with a black choker — so trendy), and Mrs. Obama wore the designer to her very first state dinner back in 2009. This year, however, Michelle Obama wore a Jason Wu gown straight from the fall 2016 runway to the state dinner, albeit a version that was slightly altered to make it more "First Lady."

I actually kind of want this dress. Too bad it retails for around $4,500.

But now onto Malia and Sasha...

The fact that Sasha wore a choker to her first state dinner is everything.

How cute are their dresses? Look at Malia mixing florals.

Best Spring Break ever, I'm guessing.
