Kylie Jenner's new Kylie Gloss, dubbed "Literally," is a nude hue that offers blinding shine and it will look good on anyone! It's the shade in the center in the photo above. Witness that it is deep enough where it won't wash out lighter skin tones yet it's pigmented enough to pop! So yeah, it's pretty perfect.
Jenner debuted her latest lip innovation in a music video and the glosses are reportedly set to go on sale today, April 1. While her mega matte Lip Kits remain a hot property, Jenner is introducing a new product to her cosmetics range, once again starting a trend as opposed to following it. While the popularity of super shiny lips has waned a tad as a matte texture asserted its dominance, Jenner is bringing gloss back with three nude-toned neutrals. Just like her first trio of Lip Kits —Candy K, Dolce K, and True Brown K— were suede-like neutrals, her first trifecta of glosses is the same in terms of shades. But certainly not in texture!
I expect the Kylie Glosses to break the Internet when they go on sale, since that's what happens whenever Lip Kits are restocked. Yes, it's easier to find a super shiny, extra wet gloss formula than a stay-put yet moisturizing matte on the mass market. But these colors are legit.
If you try and shop "Literally" and are met with a sellout or an Internet overload, don't fret. Turn that frown upside down and paint it with any of these seven similar shades. They are not exact dupes, but they are in the same family.
Literally is seriously the most wearable mid-tones nude of the threesome. Again, some of these shades will mirror Literally based on your natural lip and skin tones and the amount of coats you use. But they all come really close and are gorge in their own way.
