The Early ‘00s Trend Kylie Jenner Loves

If anyone can make '00s style cool again, it's the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan. Kylie Jenner is obsessed with Von Dutch hats back, and her latest social media spurts prove just that. Yes, you read that correctly. Those boxy trucker hats with an embroidered logo that came in just about every color and pattern you can imagine are quickly making a comeback, and I don't hate it.

I don't know about you, but as a tween-aged girl growing up in the early '00s, Von Dutch hats basically defined my personal style. My collection grew with each year and included everything from camouflage print and studs to suede, leather, and denim, so I was pretty thrilled to find out one celebrity shared the same nostalgia as I for the old-school look.

The 18-year-old took to Instagram and Snapchat to flaunt the renewed accessory. She posted a photo wearing a black and white Von Dutch hat with a see through visor portion, putting a unique modern spin to an old classic. I saw Kylie Jenner wearing a black and white Von Dutch hat, so I bought a black and white Von Dutch hat. Hopefully you get that Mean Girls reference, which serves to show that as one of the most influential people in fashion, it's only a matter of time before Von Dutch hats make their way into mainstream style.
