This is the perfect addition to Kimye's new home

by Kenya Foy

Reportedly, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wanted nothing more than to have their upcoming wedding take place at the Palace of Versailles' world-renowned Hall of Mirrors, but were turned down cold. So instead of throwing an epic tantrum, Kim and Kanye will have a Hall of Mirrors replica installed inside their Bel Air home. What else were they to do, other than create the exact image of their ideal wedding venue at home? Duh. Besides, I happen to think the design is a very fitting selection for the couple's new digs. And here's why you should too.

They seem really into replicas

If you'll recall, they gifted Baby North with a miniature Lamborghini for Christmas, which I personally thought was an awesome present. Admittedly, I struggled with a little bit of celebrity baby envy when I saw the picture of it, then I realized: a) it's a gift meant to accommodate a baby; b) I couldn't fit it if I wanted to; and c) I was, in fact, hating on a 6-month-old. Sad.

Mirrors serve as symbolism for Kardashian and West's lives

Now before I'm accused of reaching, please hear me out. A mirror is, as defined by the trusty Merriam-Webster Dictionary, "a piece of glass that reflects images; something that shows what another thing is like in a very clear and accurate way." Clearly (pun intended), Kardashian and West adore their own reflections, whether they be displayed in a mirror or plastered all over our TV screens. Those very reflections are, in fact, the root of their livelihood. If it weren't for the couple providing us with an endless display of their images, how would anyone know who they are? How would they earn what I presume to be a downright obscene amount of money required to have this "Hall of Mirrors" look-alike installed in their home? Besides, if their version of it is comparable to the real one, their fights over mirror time will cease to exist. With a mere 578 mirrors, hopefully there will be plenty of self-adoration time to go around.

It provides them with a sense of culture, dahhhling

Kardashian receives a ton of flack for the way in which she entered the entertainment industry, and at times, it seems like West's outbursts bring him more attention than his awesome music. In addition to Kardashian finally landing that much-coveted Vogue cover, the couple's choice to decorate their home with something both sophisticated and of historical significance definitely elevates their stock.

And when Kanye finally lands that design deal with a major fashion house, I'm sure we won't be able to tell the couple nothin'.
