Adrienne Bailon Sounds Off On ChyRo

by Michelle McGahan

In today's installment of "Everyone Comments On Rob Kardashian's Engagement To Blac Chyna But His Family," Kardashian's ex Adrienne Bailon sounds off on the ChyRo engagement, letting bygones be bygones and Kardashian's obvious happiness prevail. To bring you up to speed, the reality star and former 3LW singer dated for two years from 2007-2009, both appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and even getting tattoos of each other's names. After their breakup, Bailon did a tell-all interview in which she claimed it was "common knowledge" that Kardashian cheated on her and that going on the show — "being stuck with that Kardashian label" — hurt her career. (Kardashian admitted to cheating on a 2010 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, according to the New York Daily News.) Today, however, she's singing a much happier tune and seems genuinely pleased that her ex has found The One.

"I think everybody deserves happiness and I think it's just absolutely awesome," Bailon told E! News of Kardashian's engagement. "He looks like he's so happy."

It's the one thing that nobody can deny: Kardashian appears to be happier than ever in his relationship with Blac Chyna, grinning from ear to ear in almost every public photo or video of the two out there. Since dating Chyna, he has also been eating healthier, lost a significant amount of weight, and has emerged from his self-imposed seclusion. In short: Rob Kardashian's relationship with Blac Chyna is making him deliriously happy.

Bailon, who seems happy in a new relationship herself, is not the first person connected to the situation to weigh in. Blac Chyna's BFF Amber Rose (who is also notable in the Kardashian family for dating Kanye West) literally cannot stop gushing about the engagement, and Tyga, Chyna's ex-fiancé, father of their son, and Kylie Jenner's current boyfriend, also expressed his happiness for ChyRo.

"Everybody deserves 2 be happy. What some1 does for their happiness is not my concern, as long as it's not interfering wit my happiness," he wrote in a series of tweets.

Still, the more everyone on the outskirts of the situation deliver their statements on Kardashian and Chyna's engagement, it makes the all-too-telling silence of the Kardashian-Jenners — who have been Snapchatting, Instagramming, and tweeting away with no mention or congratulations for their bro — that much louder.
