You'll Love These New McDonald's Coffee Flavors

by Michelle Regalado

It's a good weekend for coffee lovers — and specifically, McDonald's coffee lovers. The fast food chain has just added a slew of delicious new flavors to its menu in the form of McDonald's McCafe Flavor Shots, basically ensuring that everyone will be able to find the perfect cup o' joe to enjoy alongside their breakfast McMuffin.

In an effort to step up its coffee game in a major way, the brand is unveiling 10 new McCafe Flavor Shots that will add a little pep to your morning latte. The shots come in a wide variety of flavors, and are available in sweetened, unsweetened, and sugar-free options, so caffeine enthusiasts everywhere are guaranteed to find something that suits their taste.

So what exactly are these new flavors? In addition to classic tastes, like French vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel, McDonald's will also be introducing fun new flavorful coffee shots, like chocolate, coconut, blueberry, cinnamon, Irish creme, and raspberry. Any of these flavors can be added to either drip-brewed coffee or espresso-based drinks. Sounds delicious, right?

But it gets even better. Customers don't have to worry about choosing between flavors. McDonald's will allow you to add up to three of the flavor shots to your coffee to create the perfect customized cup. That means you no longer have to settle for just caramel coffee or blueberry coffee. Now, you can get a cup of coconut caramel chocolate, or blueberry French vanilla coffees, or any number of different personalized combinations.

Unfortunately, the added coffee options haven't been implemented nationwide yet. So far, the new McDonald's flavor shots have only been spotted on menus in Maine, Connecticut, western Massachusetts, and Albany, New York. Hopefully, they'll become available in branches across the country sooner rather than later. In the meantime, start planning your perfect coffee concoctions! Personally, I'm thinking chocolate hazelnut sounds delicious.
