Jeremy Scott's Fall 2014 RTW Collection is Graphic Sporty Madness

We thought we'd seen the Fall 2014 fitness fashion trend play out at VPL and Alexander Wang, but Jeremy Scott's trippy athletic collection won the trophy for most outrageous in the category. The designer is known for his boundary-pushing clothes (his Scott's Spring 2014 Collection included a shirt that read "I'm a mess" and a zippered patent leather mini dress), but his new collection is on another level. Scott took the athletic style literally, dressing his models in quirky team uniforms with a couture twist. Furry sweaters emblazoned with athlete's numbers were only upstaged by mind-bending optical crop tops and graphic printed sweaters. This collection smells like team spirit in a big way, so get ready to pull out your inner quirky cheerleader for Fall 2014.

Scare off the athletic competition with this graphic sweater; we certainly wouldn’t want that face glaring at us from the opposing team.

While we wouldn’t advise wearing this netted number sans undershirt like the model here, it certainly does look breezy and movement-friendly.

Multiple shin guards (it really is a trend!), a googly-eyed face, and what appears to be a pair of red patent leather garter-inspired shorts: this outfit is not for the faint of heart.
