You Should Follow Britney Spears On Snapchat

I may have been in elementary school the first time I heard a Britney Spears song — "Baby One More Time," of course — but over the years, my love for her has never changed. So obviously, I keep up with everything Spears is up to these days, and social media is the easiest way to accomplish that. I love seeing her kids grow up on Instagram and reading updates from her "Piece of Me" show in Las Vegas on Twitter. And if you're like me and want to know what Spears is doing all the time, there's another very important social network you'll need to follow her on. So what is Britney Spears' Snapchat name? It's pretty easy; just add "britneyspears."

Spears has had a Snapchat for awhile — at least since 2013, when she started promoting her old single, "Perfume," and its music video to her followers through the app. Since then, she hasn't posted much, and tends to only use it to update fans on her career and promote her newest music and projects, like the time she chronicled the making of her "Pretty Girls" music video with Iggy Azalea last year. But even though she's not very active, If you already follow Spears everywhere else, it only makes sense to add her there, too, especially since it seems like her team might use the account every now and then for exclusive peeks into what Spears is doing next.

Since Spears is a pretty private person, it's not too surprising that she opts not to put even more of her personal life out there on Snapchat, but she should totally start. Even though she already uses other forms of social media, Snapchat is a much more informal way to keep her fans interested, and she can share only what she chooses to — and then, it disappears forever, although I have a feeling plenty of screenshots would be happening. The beautiful part about using apps like these is that it's totally up to you how invasive they can be, and Spears can still keep us at a distance while also keeping us in the loop. She may not be the most Snapchat savvy, but hey, she's still the queen.

And if she does decide to use Snapchat more often, I already know exactly what I want to see. No big deal, just more adorable photos of her kids, a tour of her house... and maybe even a makeup tutorial or two? OK, so she's probably never going to grant that wish, but who doesn't want to steal Spears' look?

But just in case that does happen someday, it might not be a bad idea to follow her now, just in case. You never know when she's going to drop something amazing — especially since her next single will be out soon.
