How Much Does A Caramel Waffle Cone Frapp Cost?

And today in delightful summer news, we have the arrival of a brand new Frappuccino perfect for the warmer months: A decadent-sounding treat from Starbucks called the Caramel Waffle Cone Frappuccino. But, you may be wondering, how much does the Starbucks Caramel Waffle Cone Frappuccino cost? Well, I’ve got good news, and it comes right from the source: Although it’ll vary depending on where you happen to live, this tasty summer treat is one more thing to add to your running list of awesome self-care tricks under $5.

Like pretty much all of Starbucks’ limited edition Frappuccinos, the exact price of this newest invention varies according to market; however, also like pretty much all of Starbucks’ limited edition Frappuccinos, the cost for a 12-ounce Tall Caramel Waffle Cone Frapp ranges between $4.25 and $4.95, according to a Starbucks spokesperson. I happen to live in a higher-cost area, so I can probably expect to pay something closer to the upper end of that range; if, however, you live in an area with a lower cost of living than I do, you’ll probably wind up with something closer to the bottom end.

Either way, though, it’s the perfect way to kick off the summer: Made of waffle cone syrup and dark caramel sauce and topped with whipped cream, waffle cone pieces, and even more dark caramel sauce, it’s basically your favorite seaside boardwalk in a cup. As someone who has spent rather a lot of my adult life in an area full of these kinds of boardwalks (hi there, Tri-State Area), this magnificent combination hits all my summer fun buttons in one go.

But it’s not the only way to celebrate the summer for under $5. Why not give one of these ideas a shot, too?

1. Go To The Beach

Duh. While some of the bells and whistles of a beach day might cost more than $5 — food to keep your fortified, water float rentals if that’s your jam, and so on and so forth — plenty of beaches are free in and of themselves; you can always keep costs down elsewhere by doing things like bringing a picnic lunch of your own. Heck and yes.

2. Hit Up The Ice Cream Truck

A couple of bucks for a cool, tasty dose of nostalgia? Yes, please.

3. Have A Water Gun Fight

You don’t necessarily need a Super Soaker to have a water gun fight with your pals (although if you’ve still got one leftover from your childhood, by all means pull it out of storage); head to the dollar store for some inexpensive water-based weapons and have at.

4. Make Ice Pops

Throw some juice in some ice cube trays, stick a toothpick in each one, pop the whole thing in the freezer, and voila: Easy peasy ice pops. If you want to get really fancy, you can get an actual ice pop mold — and if you’re willing to shell out a little extra cash, you can add real fruit and/or booze. Yum.

5. Go Somewhere Free And Air Conditioned

If you live in or near a big city, odds are there’s at least one free or cheap museum near you. (I’m lucky enough to have access to the entire Smithsonian system, for example. It’s kind of awesome.) If it’s a little too toasty for your liking and you’re tired of your electricity bill going through the roof each summer, go cool off and take in some culture at the same time for cheap.
