5H's "Write On Me" Is A Must-Listen

by Kristie Rohwedder

New Ariana Grande, new Justin Timberlake, and new Fifth Harmony? Well, if I didn't know any better, I would think that the end of this week was doing its best to butter me up with brand new pop tuneage. (And no, I'm not mad at it.) Though Grande and Timberlake’s fresh jams have yet to drop (must... remain... patient...), 5H’s new track has already hit iTunes and Spotify (yesssss being patient was getting real old real fast). Thursday, Fifth Harmony released “Write On Me,” the third song off of to-be-released sophomore album 7/27. The slinky, snappy mid tempo ballad is yet another shimmering diamond in the crown that is 5H’s singles list, and I legit cannot wait to listen to it at full volume over my car stereo.

In classic 5H style, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen, Camila Cabello, and Lauren Jauregui deliver yet another stunner of a record; All five women hit the notes and belt it out and bring the heat and sound beautiful and oh my god don't make me pick a favorite part. I refuse to pick a favorite part.

“But what about the harmonies?” you ask. “Did Fifth Harmony ditch the harmonies altogether?”

Did Fifth Harmony ditch the harmonies altogether? Nope. No way. Buckle your harmony-loving heart up for that chorus, pal.

My eyes are on the prize. And the prize is May 27, the day 7/27 hits the shelves.
