This summer is welcoming us back to the ruthless world of reality television — and no, we're not talking about a new Real Housewives spinoff. Lifetime's scripted series UnREAL is airing its second season this summer, and as anyone who watched the first season knows, things are about to get intense. The first season of UnREAL, which takes place behind the scenes of a fictional Bachelor-esque dating competition Everlasting, proved that while some women will do anything to snag their man on national TV, it's the ruthless producers who are the puppet masters. The best of the best at pulling these strings are executive producer Quinn and her protege Rachel, both of whom seem to be on their own power trip in this new promo for Season 2 of UnREAL . These ladies are once again on top of their game, and we can't wait to watch them stir the pot.

During the first season of UnREAL, self-proclaimed feminist Rachel desperately wanted to differentiate herself from Quinn, a woman whose work she saw as a necessary evil. Though Rachel professed that she didn't want to be in the "soul-sucking" world of reality television forever, she proved herself a master of manipulation — and whether she wanted to admit it or not, she really, really liked being in control. Yet after a crazy season on Everlasting — which culminated in her sleeping with the eligible bachelor, destroying her relationship, and alienating pretty much everyone — Rachel realized that power isn't such a bad thing.
