Lea Michele May Be Returning To The Stage

by Caitlyn Callegari

There's something to be said for a magnanimous spirit and unbridled will. Lea Michele has turned what was arguably one of the worst years of her life into one of excitement and promise. The feisty 5 foot 3 triple threat spoke briefly with the Windy City Times during some downtime while filming Glee and revealed (ever so coolly) that yes, there may just be a Lea Michele Louder concert tour in the works. When asked, Michele alluded to her anticipation over returning to the stage, "I am really looking forward to getting the opportunity. I come from a background of performing live onstage so that is really where I feel the most comfortable." Girl, we think everyone is most comfortable with you on a stage. Aw, aren't we nice.

That's not the only thing Michele's had going for her this year. Here are four other ways that she's been killing it recently.

1. HER DEBUT ALBUM IS DROPPING SOON.

Like, March 4 soon. We've already been graced with four tracks from the powerhouse album, Louder: "Cannonball," "Battlefield," "Louder," "What Is Love?", and "You're Mine" and we can hardly wait to hear the rest of the album, namely, "If You Say So," which is the song penned after Cory Monteith's death. Michele has said the song is extremely personal.

2. SHE'S DROPPING A BOOK, TOO

A possible tour isn't the only thing on the Glee starlet's horizon. Her semi-autobiographical book, Brunette Ambition, is set to be released on May 13 of this year. The book is a little bit of everything — partly a how-to and partly about her life. A book, a tour, an album, and TV show, oh my! Michele's work flow doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

3. FUNNY GIRL FOR REAL?!

Seems like Rachel Berry isn't the only one headed for the Great White Way. In her recent Teen Vogue interview, Michele also revealed that Glee-show runner Ryan Murphy had recently acquired the rights to Funny Girl. She went on to say that they were "planning on doing that at some point." Um, can "some point" be tomorrow?

4. SHE SEEMS TO BE IN GOOD SPIRITS.

Most importantly, we're so glad to see her enjoying her life despite the hardships. From her interviews, to her Instagram, to testimonials from the cast, it appears that Michele is one strong lady and that she's been nothing other than graceful and poised in the face of tragedy.
