When the 'Guardians' Meet 'Parks'

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has been getting a lot of attention since it's first full-length trailer was released Wednesday, but not enough to let its star forget where he comes from. Best known for his role as lovable goofball Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation, we've finally gotten a look at Chris Pratt in a different, much larger role. Since fans can't pick a favorite Pratt, they've found a way to combine the two with an amazing mashup of Parks and Rec and Guardians of the Galaxy.

The video brilliantly turns the Guardians trailer into the Parks opening credits, though creator AwesomenessX missed a huge opportunity by not titling it Guardians of Pawnee (come on!). Still, it's not only worth seeing for the great combination of two apparently awesome things, but it actually might help you keep track of all the Guardians' names.

After the credits, we also get a brief look at a voiceover-ed scene that lets the FBI's very own Bert Macklin in on the action. The sound and video might not quite synch up, but it's worth it to see all of Pratt's characters come together. Maybe one of the Parks writers will see this video and get inspired to give the newly-buff Pratt some more Macklin action on the show, or find a way to get a Parks actor into the planned Guardians sequel. Ron Swanson would probably fit in well with the gang.

Watch the altered credits sequence below and pay close attention to the names. It should help come August 1.
