Justin's Hair At The BBMAs Is A New Look For Him

To my fellow Beliebers: we can all officially go to bed happy, because Justin Bieber's 2016 Billboard Music Awards performance just happened, and it was glorious. He has reminded us why we're all still not-so-secretly obsessed with him.

Most of the pop star's ensemble was pretty par for the course — he appeared on stage in the glow of a blue mist, wearing a refreshingly simple ensemble of blue jeans, a white tee-shirt, and a white cardigan. His backup dancers completed the simple aesthetic in white tees and sneakers.

However, Bieber's HAIR was the real star of the evening. While he's most recently been sporting a longer, unkept, bleached blonde do that's been highly reminiscent of 90s grunge, tonight he appeared with a shockingly short, close-cropped natural style. It was as bare bones and simple as his super humble acceptance speech for Top Male Artist.

As totally unexpected as The Bieb's hair was, one thing remained consistent this year — that boy can still dance. And dance he did to a medley of several of his biggest hits. The only thing more impressive than his energy was his decidedly non-diva vibe.

A surprisingly simple do for the Biebs, but it looks good on him for sure.
