'Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa Is Coming Back To TV: Everything to Know About 'The Red Road'

Do you desperately miss Khal Drogo's sexy grunts and his smooth horse riding/Khaleesi riding ways? Well, me too. But the good news is that the hunk behind Khal Drogo, Jason Momoa, is starring in Sundance Channel's The Red Road and we're sure to see a lot more of him than we did in Game of Thrones. So here's a set of things to know going before settling in for The Red Road, first being... keeps your pants on because Jason Momoa is looking fiiiiine as ever.

The Show Is About Native Americans in New Jersey

One can only assume that Red Road, although it takes place in a fictional town in New Jersey, is based on real difficulties that have arisen between the Ramapough tribe and their non-native neighbors. All I know is that I had a neighbor who looked like Jason Momoa, or his character Phillip Kopus I’d be makin’ love, not war. Even if he was a criminal.

Except That Jason Momoa Is Hawaiian

This borders on micro-aggression to cast a Hawaiian dude as a Lenape Indian, but let’s digress. The point is that if you have a feeling you didn’t see any dudes who look like Jason Momoa in upstate New York, it’s probably because you didn’t.

And It Has That Guy From 'The Ring' In It!

Hey Martin Henderseon, seveeeeennnnn daaaaayyyyyssss. Just kidding though, an entire season, maybe more.

But He Was Also In A Bollywood 'Pride and Prejudice'

He was in Bride and Prejudice, as Mr. Darcy. Dude clearly has a rather varied career, which I suppose is admirable? Bride and Prejudice is like Bollywood Lite, so if you need a way to get into your Bollywood films, this is the way to go.

Plus 'Red Road' Also Has Jason Momoa's Wife

The eternally smoking hot Lisa Bonet is also on the show. My ladycrush knows no bounds, my general crush on this show also knows no bounds.

This Is Only Sundance Channel's Second Original Series

And their other original series, Rectify, is off the hook, so you should really get excited for the release of The Red Road. Really.
