Proof Gigi And Taylor Are Tried And True BFFs

by Caitlyn Callegari

It isn't an exact science or anything, but I've experienced a similar phenomenon to the one that Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid are going through right now in my own personal life. On more than one occasion, in fact. The phenomenon I'm talking about, of course, is best friends breaking up with their significant others simultaneously. I don't know why it sometimes happens that way; all I know is that it does, and it's as strange as it is bonding. Case in point, E! Online reports that Swift and Hadid are breakup confidants. A source told the site, "Gigi and Taylor are actually confiding in each other as best friends during this time. They can really relate."

As the site notes, both blondes have been friends "for quite some time," meaning before they ever got together with their recent ex-boyfriends, Calvin Harris and Zayn Malik. And they will likely remain that way long after. Swift and Hadid are tried and true best friends, and there's documentation of their closeness and unwavering loyalty. I personally would like to reflect on that more so than the barrage of rumors surrounding both women. Because, after all, a genuine friendship beats out a temporary romance any day of the week.

Here is proof Swift and Hadid are actually best friends for life:

They Have A Signature Picture Pose

BFFs are typically on the same wavelength about good sides and lighting.

See? I Told You

Checkmate.

They Can Relax Around One Another

To quote one of T. Swift's own friendship anthems, this is very much an "I'm Only Me When I'm With You" sitch.

No envy here.

For Example, They Starred In A Music Video Together...

An award winning one!

... And They Went On Tour Together

In fact, I got to watch them both strut their stuff on stage together with their other friends, and it was the cutest.

They Travel Together

Jet setting ain't easy alone.

They Have A Good Group Of Mutual BFFs

You know, "The Squad."

They Cherish Low-Key Hangs Just As Much As High Profile Ones

Which is what really matters in a dog-eat-dog world like Hollywood.
