Chad Has Security On 'The Bachelorette'

by Nicole Pomarico

With so many guys of varying personalities all with a crush on the same woman, tensions are bound to be running high on The Bachelorette. But there is the typical tension, and then there's what Chad Johnson brings everywhere he goes. He's pretty entertaining, but as we learned on Monday night's episode, he could potentially be dangerous. After an altercation with Evan during a group date, Chad earned his own bodyguard — and not to protect himself, either. Watching this all go down, you might be wondering if Chad's security team is real on The Bachelorette , because I know I am.

The answer? There isn't one — at least, not yet. All anyone knows is that after Chad and Evan got into a fight after the sex talk date, Evan obviously didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the same room as Chad. I mean, would you? Didn't think so. So that's the story of how Chad received his own personal security team. Whether or not the dudes in the black "security" shirts were legit body guards or not is yet to be determined, but if they weren't, they probably should be — and the other men in the house definitely feel that way, too.

Think about it: He's pretty unpredictable, and he's proven that he's willing to rough some people up if they stand in his way, especially Evan. So it makes sense that, for the safety of everyone involved, he would have someone who can jump in between him and his target. Plus, Chad is a pretty strong dude. I'm willing to bet he can throw a pretty mean punch if he really wants to.

And being that Evan and several other guys felt threatened enough by him to talk to Chris Harrison about it, maybe it's for the best that there's a third party keeping the peace at all times. After the promo for the next episode, I have a feeling that presence is going to come in handy.
