You Don't Want To Miss 'O.J.: Made In America'

by Alaina Urquhart-White

2016 is the year that brought O.J. Simpson back into the spotlight. While his trial for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, of which he was found not guilty, never quite left the public's mind, this year it was brought back to the public consciousness in a big way thanks largely to the FX miniseries The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. Now, we'll get to view the trial from a whole new perspective in an ESPN documentary called O.J. Simpson: Made In America, which should be extremely different from the scripted American Crime Story. So, where can you stream O.J. Simpson: Made In America online as it airs over five nights between June 11 and 18? Update: Though it was reported that the first part of O.J.: Made in America would be available on Hulu on June 12, as of June 16, the docuseries is not listed on the streaming service.

Earlier: There are definitely ways to watch the documentary without a television, which is great news, because it seems that you won't want to miss a single installment. CBS Sports reported that it is on it's way to becoming a record-breaking documentary with a perfect score of 100 on Metacritic. It's rare for a movie or series to get perfect reviews, so this is no easy feat and suggests that the series will be a masterpiece.

However, streaming is a little tricky since the premiere episode of O.J.: Made In America will be shown on ABC, but the remaining four parts will air on ESPN. Here are your options for watching the docu-series online.

Watch ABC

Since the premiere episode will air on ABC instead of ESPN this Saturday night at 9 p.m. ET, you can stream it live through Watch ABC on the network's website or the Watch ABC app. They're free of cost, but you do have to login with a cable provider to access the live stream. If you don't have a login, then you can watch shows one week after they air on both platforms as well, so it's possible that will apply to the premiere of O.J.: Made in America.

Not only will WatchESPN.com and the WatchESPN app be streaming the documentary live as each episode airs, but all five parts will be available to watch on the website and app on June 14 — before all installments have even aired on TV. However, there is a catch: You have to login with a cable subscription that includes ESPN. But if you have a login, you can stream O.J.: Made in America from your computer, cell phone, tablet, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, or Roku, so you have a ton of options.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, all five parts of O.J.: Made in America will be available to stream on Hulu. Part 1 will become available on June 12, the day after if premieres on TV, and though THR did not confirm when the other parts would be released on the platform, it's very likely that they will follow suit and hit Hulu the morning after their TV debuts. You can subscribe to Hulu for $7.99 a month or sign up for a one-week free trial and watch the series on your computer or one of the many, many devices that work with the streaming service.

With all of these options, it should be easy to catch O.J.: Made in America on whatever device you want and learn just how complex the Trial of the Century and everything that lead to it was.
