Bella Thorne Has Some Great Skincare Advice

by Augusta Statz

This girl is all about embracing whatever makes you, you and yes, I’m talking even when it comes to acne. She’s taking her new role promoting #LoveYouNature with Burt’s Bees quite seriously and dished on skincare habits, pimples and more in an interview with Teen Vogue. Bella Thorne uses this crucial face washing method daily, and I think her advice will greatly improve your beauty routine, too.

"I wash my face twice in the morning and twice at night," she told the publication. I do it twice because you don’t get everything off of your face the first time. Then I use a toner and a gel topical ointment that my dermatologist gave me."

Anytime a celeb’s willing to give advice, it’s worth a listen, you know? Because honestly, you can’t talk about acne with just anyone, but you can certainly tune in whenever someone is ready to spill their skincare secrets. Thorne says she uses a double-cleansing method morning and night. She uses a cleanser once to remove makeup and then repeats the process to actually cleanse once the makeup is gone.

This has been recommended by skincare experts, too, so Thorne’s really on to something with this. Especially with the summer weather in full swing, washing twice morning and night to remove sweat and grime accumulated throughout the day really is a good idea. Just be sure you’re selecting a gentle face wash so that you’re not being too harsh on your skin.
