Always one to bring the perfect amount of drama, Saoirse Ronan attended the 2016 Tony Awards wearing a floor length, rose-colored gown that's giving off serious '90s vibes. Ronan is currently starring as Abigail Williams in The Crucible on Broadway, which is up for the Best Revival Of A Play award at Sunday night's ceremony — and plenty of experts think it has a great chance of winning. In addition to repping her role, Ronan is confirmed to be presenting an award. So, really, are we surprised she pulled out all the stops?
Not one to play it safe, she most recently wore a Christopher Kane frock covered in pink and black feathers to the 2016 Met Gala. Before that, it was a floor length, sequin, emerald Calvin Klein gown at the Academy Awards. So Sunday's dress, is pretty much on track with what we've been seeing Ronan in lately. It was fairly simple, but the cutout details and nude-ish shade still make a statement.
Ronan's romantic makeup — done by Laura Mercier artist Talia Sparrow — perfectly complemented the look. Just like most people the carpet this evening, Ronan stayed minimalistic with her accessories, tying the whole look together with just some delicate, dangling earrings.
Just stunning, right? And let's get a close up of that cutout.
Fantastic.
