Bella Thorne Has The Best Outlook On Blemishes

by Kali Borovic

Contrary to what some celebs might have you think, everyone gets blemishes from time to time. It's just one of those universal things that bonds us all together. Sure, it can be annoying, but Bella Thorne's positive outlook on pimples might be just what you need to battle your breakouts. Instead of dwelling on the unwanted spots, she embraces them. It might sound crazy, but her advice is actually pretty smart.

If you're anything like me, you're guilty of letting little things ruin your day. Sometimes it's spilled coffee and other times is that nasty zit that just had to show up. Thankfully, Thorne has the advice that you need to change all of that. Instead of getting angry about her pimples, she calls them beautiful. I know, I know. I'll let Thorne do the talking.

"I got this pimple the other day and I said to my sister, 'Look at this! I have a press day coming up!' And she said, 'That's a beautiful pimple, Bella. That is beautiful. Scars are beautiful," Thorne told Us Magazine. "We both struggle with acne, but now, every time we get something on our face, we just to each other, 'That's beautiful. I love my scars. I love my skin.' You have to change your mindset."

I guess it's true what they say— change your outlook, change your life. If you need more than just a different attitude, Thorne has you covered with that too. She also told the publication that she has switched to plant-based products to help control acne. Here are a few to add to your makeup table.
