NikkieTutorials Is Basically All Of Us

by Augusta Statz

You’re definitely not alone in wondering how those beauty vloggers do it. How did they get so good at makeup? How do they walk around in full-glam mode all of the time? Well, you’ll probably be as happy as I was to know that even NikkieTutorials likes taking off her makeup. It’s kind of that feeling you get when you take your bra off, you know? And even to someone who loves all things beauty related as much as she does, having a fresh face at night is still something she loves.

So, basically NikkieTutorials is all of us (with better makeup skills, of course). But hey, she’s here to help, right? Yes, and thank goodness for that. She’s teaching us how to get all beauty-fied by day, but also reminding us that there’s nothing quite like removing a full face of makeup each night. She also adds that applying moisturizer is an important step because proper skincare is always crucial.

I always appreciate when celebrities and YouTube sensations keep it real, and that’s exactly what NikkieTutorials is doing here (and always does, for that matter). So, if you’re looking forward to taking off that bra and makeup you’re wearing as soon as you get home especially after reading this, I can’t say I blame you.

She speaks the truth.

Which is better? I'll take both, please!

Let’s take a beauty tip from our fav beauty vlogger and shop the best facial moisturizers to slather all over our faces when we get home tonight, shall we?

1. Overnight Mask

Facial Radiance Overnight Mask, $38, Sephora

After wearing product all day, you may need some heavy-duty treatment at night. This mask will hydrate the skin as you sleep. Just what you were looking for, huh?

2. Facial Oil

Orchid Facial Oil, $64, Herbivore

For a truly nourishing moisturizer, opt for oils instead of lotion.

3. Night Cream

Immortelle Precious Night Cream, $72, Sephora

This will help repair your skin at nighttime and even has anti-aging properties. Talk about a beauty sleep!

4. Facial Cream

Ultra Facial Cream, $47.50, Kiehl's

This moisturizer can be applied morning and night to help keep your face feeling hydrated.

5. Brightening Moisturizing Cream

Brightening Evening Skin Tone Moisturizing Cream, $20, Burt's Bees

This will give you a flawless complexion and keep you moisturized. Just what you skin needs after a long day.

6. Priming Moisturizer

Priming Moisturizer, $25, Glossier

This acts as a primer and moisturizer in one, so you can slather this on before you apply your makeup and once you remove it. Gotta love multi-purpose products.

I don't know about you, but I'm counting down the hours until it's time to remove my makeup for the night. Ahh, it's going to feel so good.
