At Litchfield, the past has a way of following you around. Piper may have thought that she got rid of Ruby Rose's character, however (spoilers for Orange is the New Black Season 4) Stella appeared on Orange is the New Black Season 4. This time, she popped into Nicky's storyline and continued to be a pretty lousy friend — though she didn't stick around for long.
Stella was something like Season 3's Big Bad. After seducing Piper and partnering with her on the illegal panty business, Stella stole all of the profits. She also gave Piper a tattoo that said "Trust No B*tch" without her knowledge. So, right before she was about to be released, Stella was framed and sent to max. Piper and all of her friends gathered up every bit of contraband they had and hid it in Stella's bunk.
In Season 4, Episode 6, we got to see the maximum security prison up close and personal. Not only was Stella hanging around in the yard, but we saw Old Lady Taslitz as well! She was sent to max for stabbing someone she thought was Vee. If only Miss Claudette had popped up in this scene as well!
Stella tried to start a conversation with Nicky. However, we quickly learned that Stella was taking advantage of the prison's pretty heavy drug scene, so Nicky shooed her away. That was it! Just like that, Stella was gone again.
Nicky didn't even mention having bumped into her for the rest of the season. I guess that just goes to show that Stella is out there, and could always come back to stir things up when you least expect it.
