Kelly Meza-Dodd Will Fit Right In On 'RHOC'

by Kayla Hawkins

For the last few seasons, The Real Housewives of Orange County has struggled to find new cast members who can stick around and fit in with the rest of the OGs, with only Meghan Edmonds able to last longer than a single season. But maybe Season 11 can change that pattern. Real Housewives of Orange County's new cast member Kelly Meza-Dodd's net worth might not be as large as some of her new costars, but she's definitely going to find out that she still has a lot in common with the other members of this cast, from her appreciation for getting extra dressed up to her beautiful Southern California mansion.

Though this figure has not been confirmed, according to Inquisitr, Meza-Dodd's husband Michael Dodd's net worth is reportedly around $1.5 million. As a point of comparison, the reported net worth of Heather Dubrow was estimated at $30 million by Heavy.com. But honestly, reported net worths aren't what matter here. What really matters is whether or not Kelly proves that she can fit in with the rest of the cast, and I think she might actually have the things you really need — besides just the money to run with the crew and the willingness to have a year of her life broadcast on cable — to be a successful addition to The Real Housewives of Orange County cast.

She's Already Controversial

There's already a story circulating about Meza-Dodd centering around comments she made to TMZ on which she said that she "doesn't know any black guys" and more racial remarks. She later apologized for the comments, telling TMZ, ""I am truly embarrassed. There is no excuse for bad behavior or comments that offend anyone. That video does not represent who I really am and I apologize for acting irresponsibly."

She's Tight With Vicki

I'm happy to see that Meza-Dodd has been posting pics with Vicki Gunvalson, the original Orange County Housewife. Vicki's had a rough couple of seasons, especially with all the drama between her and her ex, Brooks Ayers and it would be great to see her get a friend.

She Has Serious Moves

No Housewives cast likes to party the way the RHOC do, so you need to come prepared for a long night of dancing the night away. I think she'll be able to handle many a night dancing on the bar or being convinced to take one of Tamra's fitness classes.

She Can Change Up Her Look

Similarly, no one loves a costume party like these ladies, so dexterity with wigs and makeup will also be appreciated. Plus, you don't have to be a billionaire in order to show up with a good sense of humor dressed for a rodeo or in a catsuit.

She Owns A Boat

There's no single activity that better encapsulates living well than owning a boat and taking it out on beautiful, crystalline waters, so I'd say Kelly and her family are living pretty well.

Her Home Is Beautiful

With Heather Dubrow's unbelievably lavish home finally being unveiled this season, real estate will be on the show's mind, and the Meza-Dodd family has a lovely home as well.

Whether or not Kelly Meza-Dodd winds up being a huge success on the show or ultimately decides Real Housewives of Orange County isn't for her, she's still going to fit right into the neighborhood.
