'Bachelorette' Contestant Alex's Tattoos Explained

by Nicole Pomarico

Now that Chad Johnson is (sadly) off of The Bachelorette, there is more time to devote to the other contestants on the show... like James Marsden's twin, Alex. On Monday night's episode, he's doing a victory lap for helping to get rid of Chad, which means he's getting a lot more screen time... which also means you might have caught a glimpse of some of his ink. So what are Bachelorette star Alex's tattoos? They all have a special meaning to him. He's not the only guy this season with tattoos, but he might actually have the most of them.

As Alex explained in his ABC bio, "they are all family or work related" — and I'm guessing by "work" he means that they have to do with his time in the military. There are a lot of them, and it's hard to see exactly what they are up close. Fortunately, that's what social media is for, and a lot of his photos have offered up a better look at the art he's wearing all over his arms and chest. Exhibit number one: This shirtless pic (which I secured from Instagram... for science) shows off all of them, albeit not in great detail.

There are also a couple of pics that are closer up that give a better look of what his tattoos are. Some are text, some are images, and from what I can make out, there's an eagle, a star, and possibly some lightning? You know, among many other designs.

And of course, this one of him actually getting tattooed, because clearly he loves this art form.

Alex, if you're reading this, help a sister out and let us all know what your tats are. Just curious!
