In the world of the Kardashians, anything is possible. As fans of the E! family know, Kim Kardashian's best friend is Jonathan Cheban. Well, it looks like the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has some major competition when it comes to her BFF, because apparently Martha Stewart and Jonathan Cheban are friends or are at least hanging out. Yeah, I know. It's extremely random.
On Wednesday, the queen of cooking and home decor took to Twitter with a tweet that appeared to be throwing major shade at Cheban. Alongside a photo of him, she wrote, "#seriouslypopular @DailyMail @MailOnline do you know this guy?? He says he is well known." Oh snap! Even the Daily Mail responded with, "Why don't you ask @KimKardashian?"
Stewart's apparent shade didn't stop there as she then tweeted another (and clearer) photo of Cheban and wrote, "Better photo of Jonathan who is very famous bff of the Kardashians. Who knew!"
Anyone else literally laughing out loud? I'm sure if you were having a crappy Wednesday, Stewart's tweets cheered you up. They are amazing, for sure. However, if you were hoping for a Twitter war to start between the two, it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Why not? Well, it seems like Stewart was just messing with Cheban, because they were hanging out at a Daily Mail event when she sent those tweets. Of course, Cheban tweeted a photo of himself and Stewart. Clearly, he wanted to assure everyone that they are besties. He wrote, "Fun dinner with the best!! @MarthaStewart she's been keeping me laughing for hours!"
FYI, the reason Stewart used the hashtag "#seriouslypopular" is for the Daily Mail's Seriously Popular event currently being thrown in Cannes, France. So, yeah, Stewart wasn't dissing Cheban, but just getting in the spirit of the event by being freaking hilarious and making fun of his so-called fame. It's all in good fun.
I think it's safe to say that they're having a great time, especially based on other photos Stewart shared of Jason Derulo performing. She tweeted, "Now Jason Derulo is singing for us. Quite a show. It's hot and he is shedding his clothes." She then added, "Down to his shirtsleeves."
Basically, Stewart is damn funny.
