Iwan Rheon Reveals His 'GoT' Wishes For Ramsay

Many characters on Game of Thrones might be scared to meet Jon Snow, especially if they know what he's been through lately, but not Ramsay Bolton. The actor who plays him, interestingly enough, has a similar reaction for a different reason. In an interview with Bustle, Iwan Rheon talked Jon and Ramsay's face-off on Game of Thrones.

"I'm really happy that Jon and [Ramsay] got to meet, because I think those two, the interaction is really interesting thing to observe and I think it was great that we finally got face to face."

House Bolton has such a weight on Game of Thrones that it's easy to forget that Ramsay started off the series as Ramsay Snow, just like Jon. They were both Northern bastards who rose above their stations and ended up commanding armies. For a society that was ruled by one family, House Targaryen, for so long and still follows noble decorum and traditions — this really could be a major sign of change.

On the other hand, it's pretty cute that everybody wants to hang out with Jon Snow. Who doesn't? He has been pretty isolated in the Night's Watch. This is the first time in the series, really, that we're getting to see Jon Snow interact in Westeros society. As a fellow/former bastard, Ramsay Bolton was a fitting first opponent.

Speaking of isolation, Rheon says that his only un-granted wish for Ramsay Bolton other than meeting characters that his character wouldn't need to interact with is more climate-based than anything else.

"I think Ramsay should have gone on holiday to Dorne," Rheon says, "because then essentially Iwan gets to go to Spain. That's not a burn or anything against Northern Ireland, but the other [Game of Thrones cast] come back all tan from skinny-dipping in the sea. I get a bit jealous when they come home."

According to an interview on Conan, this is also a point of contention between Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner, who recently swapped Game of Thrones filming locations as Arya crossed the narrow sea and Sansa took back the North for House Stark. Winter may be coming in Westeros (and Essos) but it's taking its sweet time -- and, fortunately for fans, Ramsay never got the chance to escape it.
