Chris Brown Is Being Sued By His Manager

by Michelle McGahan

The legal trouble never ends for Chris Brown. Brown's manager has filed a lawsuit against him for allegedly assaulting him during what he claims was a "drug-fueled" attack, multiple sources report. According to E! News, Mike Guirguis, aka Mike G, is suing Brown for a number of allegations including, "assault, battery, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, breach of contract and breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing."

Seemingly in response to the lawsuit, Brown took to Instagram on Thursday and alleged, "N*ggas is getting mad and filing lawsuits because I fired them because they were stealing money. You're stealing money, pal. So, you're mad because you're no longer existent. It's all right."

In a second video, Brown said, "Ain't nobody come out clean in the sh*t-throwing contest. 'Cause I could throw a big piece of sh*t. I'm talking about massive ... it's like elephant sh*t, mixed with donkey sh*t, there might even be a little bit of rabbit pebbles. But I will throw the biggest piece of sh*t, so we're not going to play these games."

E! claims to have obtained court documents showing Guirguis' filing and reports that Guirguis claims the alleged assault occurred in May 2016. According to the site, Guirguis alleges Brown attacked him and that his alleged injuries led to an ER visit. According to TMZ, in the lawsuit Guirguis also claims that Brown took to social media after the alleged incident to mock Guirguis and brag about the alleged attack.

After Brown's Instagram videos were posted, Giurguis' lawyer released the following statement to E!:

We saw Chris Brown's response [to the complaint Mike G filed] that he posted on social media. [Chris] said he claims he fired Mike G. because he stole from him. That is unequivocally untrue and shameful and we will be amending our complaint to allege defamation.

Bustle has reached out to Brown's rep and lawyer for further comment, but has not yet heard back.
