These Two Bravolebrities Go Waaay Back

by Kristie Rohwedder

Do you know what never fails to make my face beam like I’ve been drinking LVP Sangria all day? Bravolebrity crossover friendships, that’s what (may you never stop tweeting at each other, Jason Taylor and Shepard Rose!). So it probably goes without saying that when Vanderpump RulesAriana Madix tweeted about longtime pal Bobby Giancola the other night, I lit up like a charter guest who just found out there will be a foam party on the yacht (h/t The Daily Dish). During Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, the SURver celebrated the Below Deck Mediterranean star’s first visit to the Clubhouse by sharing an old pic of the duo. And I have yet to stop celebrating the pic.

Madix and Giancola's friendship began way before they became small screen personalities: The pair of future Bravolebrities met almost two decades ago while attending the same school in Melbourne, Fla., and they've remained chums ever since. While this particular Bravolebrity buddyship isn’t exactly breaking news (they've posted throwback and present day photos of each other Instagram, Giancola appeared on Madix's podcast, and so on), that doesn’t make this particular snapshot any less splendid. The braces! The Sun-In! The creased photograph that was most likely taken by a late '90s/early '00s-chic disposable camera!

Hey, Ariana? Thank you.

And now a plea to Andy Cohen:

Dear Mr. Cohen,

First of all, thank you for all you do and all you continue to do. Just about every Bravo reality series is a resplendent gift, and I am eternally grateful. I really do not know what I would do without the channel. I'd probably end up spending my evenings learning how to do something super productive like, I don't know, how to skate on curbs while wearing Soaps. (Oops, it looks like a certain throwback pic of two Bravolebrities has gotten to me.)

And now my humble request: Will you please put Ariana and Bobby on the same Watch What Happens Live episode? Please?! I want to bask in the glowing light that is their friendship, and I'm sure I'm not alone here. I'm confident the episode would skate (or should I say soap?) into every viewer's heart.

All of my gratitude,

Kristie
