Ugh, these Red Carpet Couples are Too Cute

Before the 2014 Oscar nominees have their dreams shattered or made, the Oscars' red carpet is the perfect place for some levity, some fun, and some cuteness. Lots of our favorite stars have already graced the soggy walkway and chatted with our boy Ryan Seacrest about everything from fashion (Pharrell's shorts have already stolen the show) to their panicked emotions about the evening to dinner reservations (June Squibb is psyched that the prefix "Oscar nominee" might help get her a table) to what it's like to hang out with Jared Leto's mom at a basketball game (seriously, when does Seacrest have time to take in a sporting event?) but we can't help but go shmawww over some of these cloyingly cute red carpet couples. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis ... the list of cute couples is just getting started.

But as the night wears on, the smiles, the cuddles, the sweetness will all give way to tense, white-knuckle moments as the nominees learn whether or not they're a winner or, well, a loser. So smile it up now, happy celebs: get in the hugs, the high-fives, and the loving glances while you can before your category is called.
