Rihanna sat in the front row. Nobody wore heels. Cara Delevingne and Joan Smalls danced down the runway together. Why were we so obsessed with sneaking into the Oscars when we could have been cavorting with top models in Paris?
Stella McCartney's collection was designed to channel a "boyish, sporty, masculine moment" (like us boldly trying to talk the Oscars bouncers into letting us hug Kevin Spacey just for a second) and was inspired by the idea of "taking care of [the Stella McCartney] woman and giving her everything she needs" (which is definitely how Leonardo DiCaprio would treat us if we were dating). The Oscars may have had the greatest selfie of all time, but the clothes at Stella McCartney were definitely more conducive to having fun.
