Amy Poehler Can Party, Can't Handstand

by Maitri Suhas

Alright, alright, alright, we get it: Jennifer Lawrence fell down, and it was endearing, apparently. Ellen DeGeneres and her very esteemed friends and colleagues of the acting world took the most retweeted selfie of all time. But in a combination of group-shot and true-tumble, Amy Poehler and her pals out-did Ellen's selfie at the Vanity Fair after-party. Ever ambitious, Poehler wanted to do a handstand, and because everyone adores her and wants to help her achieve her dreams, her friends Bill Murray, Bill Hader, Paul Rudd, Andy Samberg, Adam Scott and couple of the century Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally tried to give her a hand.

They failed miserably, but look how much fun they had trying! Everyone looks as young as they did in Wet Hot American Summer, and as drunk as they did in Wet Hot American Summer. Megan Mullally's hair is fiery red and perfect, which reminds us that we haven't seen much of Tammy 2 on Parks recently. I'd like to personally wed each of these people, and I'm still pouring one out for the conspicuously absent Will Arnett, whose hairline seems to recede at the same rate that Amy Poehler gets hotter. I wouldn't have minded in Poehler's new beau Nick Kroll was in the shot, though, but it's a tough crowd to break into.

So, eat your heart out Ellen. Your Oscars selfie now has serious photographic competition.
