Ben Wyatt + Game Of Thrones = OTP

Non spoiler alert spoiler alert: Parks and Rec 's Ben Wyatt and Leslie Knope are still by far the most adorable couple on TV. It's just a fact of modern life: We all have to accept that no matter how in love we may fall in our lifetimes, the chances of us reaching the level of adorableness encapsulated in Ben and Leslie Wyatt-Knope is extremely slim.

This was never more evident than this past week, when their anniversary meant gift-giving, which meant that Leslie Knope got to bust out her legendary gift-giving skillz — this time in the form of the Iron Throne from Game Of Thrones. Her husband, a die-hard Game Of Thrones fan, reacted appropriately: By almost peeing himself in excitement. And once again it made us simultaneously wish that Leslie Knope were our wife, or Ben Wyatt our husband, or maybe that they'd just adopt us and shepherd us into their political careers and Friday night political trivia rounds followed by in-depth analyses of modern sci-fi/fantasy.

Alas, we will have to settle for their comforting screen presence. And hey, at least NBC's nice enough to provide an extended version of that now-famous Game Of Thrones -on- Parks and Rec moment. And it, as expected is glorious.

P.S. We're still waiting on that Adam Scott guest appearance, David Beniof and D.B. Weiss. Still waiting.
