The 'S. Charm' Cliffhanger Comes Up At The Reunion

by Kristie Rohwedder

You know when you build something up in your mind to an unrealistic degree but refuse to let go of the picture you've imagined? That's what happened to me while I watched the Southern Charm Season 3 reunion. Don't get me wrong, I loved every mint julep-soaked moment, but I'd told myself that a certain breakout star of season finale would probably pop by and set the record straight. Yes, I was fully convinced that Robyn would swing by the reunion so she could address her gasp-inducing question about Landon and T-Rav and hookups (oh, my!). And yes, I was disappointed when it didn't happen.

Toward the end of the postseason get-together, show host/frustrated referee Andy Cohen eventually asked the cast about the bomb that went off in the last minutes of the finale. And I was all ears. What is the story behind Robyn's big Q, dearest Charmers? Pray tell! Shep told Andy that he was genuinely taken aback by Robyn's inquiry (you and me both, Shep-o-rino), added that he didn’t know where his Founders' Ball date got her information, and seemed to believe Landon and T-Rav (er, I think? I'm sorry, it was all so chaotic). When Andy questioned Landon about her friend’s remark, she replied, “How unfortunate for Robyn that she thinks that.”

I closed my eyes and silently wished a wish: Bring Robyn out here. Bring Robyn out here. Bring Robyn out here. Bring Robyn out here. Bring Robyn out here. Bring Robyn out here. Bring Robyn out here. Bring Robyn out here. Bring Robyn out here.

I looked at the clock and panicked when I realized we had less than 10 minutes of episode left. Come on, Andy. Bring Robyn out here. Let's find out why she said the thing said. Let’s hear the full story. Let’s settle this once and for all.

But it never happened. Robyn would never swing by the reunion. We would never find out why Robyn said the thing she said. Kathryn and T-Rav and Landon would never agree on what actually did or didn't happen between Landon and T-Rav. The mystery would remain unsolved. The fight would not be resolved. The Cold War, as Shep dubbed it, would not end before Season 3 drew to a close.

Hey, Season 4 (if you happen, that is)? You know what you need to do.
