Remember Her Fashion Line? Well, It's Kaput

Katie Holmes had a fashion line — remember? Remember-ish? Well, despite its surprising existence, Holmes & Yang, a joint fashion collaboration between Holmes and stylist Jeanne Yang, is reportedly no more. Holmes & Yang has been quietly existing for more than a few years now (since 2009 to be exact), and according to Page Six, the collaborative line is officially over due to interpersonal conflict between the designers.

The fashion line was consistently met in the past with mixed critical reviews from and, according to Vogue, Holmes & Yang was no longer being sold at Barneys or Harvey Nichols, establishments that carried the line in the past. Certainly not a good sign.

Since Holmes' infamous (and very public) break up with ex Tom Cruise in 2012, the star has stayed relatively out of the public eye (except for the occasional, adorable snap of her stylish daughter, Suri). With the end of Holmes & Yang and new acting roles in the works, it appears that that may be changing.

Despite Holmes' sudden departure from the fashion world (that we kinda sorta make have forgotten she was part of?), we'll still be seeing more of Suri's mom this year. With a new role in the movie adaptation of The Giver coming out (a film with a cast that includes Meryl Streep, Taylor Swift, and Alexander Skarsgard — whoa) and a few other movies set to be released in 2014, it seems like at least one side of the ampersand in Holmes & Yang is going to be just fine.
