Elle Fanning Is No Longer A Blonde

by Augusta Statz

Neither this actress nor her sister are known for switching up their looks. Because when you’ve got something this great going, why would you mess with it? But Elle Fanning just dyed her hair pink, and it is quite the transformation. You’ll definitely be able to tell her apart from her lookalike sis now!

The most extravagant thing she's done before, beauty-wise, is rock some glittery makeup, which looked amazing btw. So, this is definitely the most dramatic transformation to date (it even tops her brief stint as a brunette). Fanning’s white blonde hair is now a cotton candy pink, and she can definitely pull it off. The color is courtesy of celebrity hair colorist and stylist Jenda Alcorn who calls the look “pink panther” on Instagram. This nickname couldn’t be more accurate!

I like this new, more edgy vibe we're getting from Fanning here. If you weren’t already into the idea of going all pastel and mermaid-y for summer, you definitely will be now. Her new ‘do will definitely serve as inspiration for you to pull the dye out, especially if you’ve also got blonde hair. Fanning is proving that blondes transition perfectly to pale pinks, so what are you waiting for? Bring out that inner pink panther and get colorful for the season! If Fanning can do it, so can you!

Pink panther or fairy tale princess? I feel like she could go either way, depending on her mood. Either choice is a win in my book!

Light blonde hair suits her.

Whether it's long or short, her mane always looks amazing.

The fact that she completely owns this color probably has something to do with the reason why she tends to not switch up her look very often.

She's never looked more fairy tale-like than she does with this new pink hue.

And I've gotta say, the whole mysterious, ethereal thing — it really works for her.
