When Is KathleenLights x Makeup Geek Coming Out?

by Rosie Narasaki

Have you heard the good news? We've officially got a new, awesome cosmetics collab to look forward to in coming months. When exactly can we look for it on shelves, though — seriously, when is KathleenLights x Makeup Geek coming out? The much-anticipated highlighter palette is sure to be a nice addition to any makeup bag, and it's the latest in a long line of awesome YouTuber beauty collections.

In case you haven't heard of her, KathleenLights, whose full name is Kathleen Fuentes, first came onto the beauty tutorial scene back in 2013. Her channel has grown exponentially since then, and she now boasts over 2.3 million subscribers. She's parlayed YouTube success into retail success with a couple awesome capsule collections, including a gorgeous assortment of eye and lip products for cult-favorite brand Colour Pop, as well as Ofra Cosmetics — and now she can officially add Makeup Geek to her list of collaborators.

The announcement comes hot of the heels of the release of Makeup Geek's latest collaboration with YouTuber MannyMUA (AKA Manny Gutierrez), not to mention Fuentes' recent product launch with Colour Pop. Unfortunately for us, neither Makeup Geek nor KathleenLights has revealed a release date yet — the closest we got to anything concrete was a tweet claiming that more information will be coming our way next month.

It's not a lot in the way of concrete intel, but at least we know to keep our eyes peeled. Oh, and we also know that the palette's majorly worth waiting for: Fuentes posted a behind-the-scenes look at one of her latest photoshoots with the brand, and the highlighter is very covet-worthy.

The packaging of the palette is correspondingly stunning, with an appealingly art deco vibe to go with her whole Daisy Buchanan look from the photoshoot.

Gorgeous, right? If the anticipation is killing you, you can always hop over to Colour Pop to shop her latest capsule collection: It includes three absolutely gorgeous lip glosses (two in lovely shades of pink, and one in a unexpected shade of taupe), as well as a rich brown eyeliner, charmingly named after a certain favorited Friends character, which comes in both pen and pot form.

The Matthew Perry reference alone is enough to sell me on the product personally, but it's admittedly versatile and gorgeous, regardless of its on-point etymology.

What do you think? Will you be furiously checking KathleenLights' various social media accounts next month for new info on her Makeup Geek collab? I definitely will be!
