Paris Hairstyles to Copy From the Runway

Yesterday, we summed up the best beauty looks from Paris Fashion Week Fall 2014 to start wearing today. And while there was a ton of wearable makeup on the runway this week, we shouldn't neglect the hair, which was looking as down-to-earth and beautiful as could be. One thing was made quite clear: just like in New York, slicked back ponytails, center parts, and tousled locks are of the moment. There's no need to wait to wear these looks.

1. Faux Bobs at Dries Van Noten

No need to chop off your long locks! Dries Van Noten showed us how cool the faux bob can be, courtesy of Sam McKnight. The look is a little old Hollywood, with delicate waves across the front of the face and a giant, plain clip to fasten your hair in place. Secure with pins at the nape of the neck. We can't think of a better way to keep the hair out of our faces once the warmer weather finally arrives.

2. Bubble Ponytail at Valentino

The bubble ponytail at Valentino proves that the grade school hair standby can still be chic in adulthood. Stylist Guido Palau created those perfect little poufs with strategically placed elastics. One part pony-one part braid, this style will ensure that you never have a bad hair day again. Be sure to leave a few face-framing strands loose and don't forget the center part.

3. Knotted Braids at Givenchy

Two braids were better than one at Givenchy, where the hair was styled into two low braids, then knotted together to create this intricate 'do. Not quite a ponytail, not quite a braid. On the runway, these headbands stopped at the temples, which may be a bit out there for normal wear, so either ditch the headband completely, or go with one that sits around the middle of the forehead for a glam urban princess look.
