'Game Of Thrones' Star Gets Eerie In Indie

by Alanna Bennett

"You know nothing, Jon Snow" is uttered absolutely nowhere in this first trailer for Honeymoon, a film starring Game Of Thrones ' Rose Leslie that will be premiering at the SXSW festival in Austen, TX this next week. Things do get damn eery, though, and not in the White Walker HBO way. More like in that "there's something damn creepy in the woods" way.

The film's directed by Leigh Janiak, written by Janiak and Phil Graziadei, and stars Leslie (who was also a recurring character in the first season of Downton Abbey) and Harry Treadaway, Ben Huber, and Hanna Brown. Here's the synopsis according to the SXSW website:

Young newlyweds Paul (Harry Treadaway) and Bea (Rose Leslie) travel to remote lake country for their honeymoon where the promise of private romance awaits them. Shortly after arriving, Paul finds Bea wandering and disoriented in the middle of the night. As she becomes more distant and her behavior increasingly peculiar, Paul begins to suspect something more sinister than sleepwalking took place in the woods.

So...yeah. Things get a lot creepy starting at about the time in the trailer where Leslie's Bea asks her new husband "Have you ever killed anything?" Seems like something a Game of Thrones character would ask about 1500 pages (get it? Game of Thrones is long) before killing the person they're asking.
