Watch Michelle Obama Sing On Carpool Karaoke

In what was perhaps the most highly-anticipated form of entertainment this week, Michelle Obama joined James Corden on Carpool Karaoke and it was as incredible as we'd all hoped.

Although Michelle told Corden that that was the first time she had "sat in the passenger side of a car jamming out" in seven-and-a-half years, she looked like a natural doing it. She even gave Corden a quick (drive-by!) tour of the White House before they jumped into the karaoke portion of the show. The brief tour that was an incredible opportunity to see more of what Michelle is like as a person, as she immediately warmed up to Corden in the car and even joked about where President Obama was at the moment as they passed the Oval Office. "Is here in there right now?" Corden asked. "He better be! That's where he said he was."

I never really thought about the lack of music listening Michelle does in the car, since she's driven around by secret service, but that was one of the first things she told Corden. "Do you mind if we listen to music?" she asked. "I rarely get to listen to music in the car." And without further adieu, Michelle's incredible playlist of songs kicked off the most epic Carpool Karaoke episode yet.

Apparently Stevie Wonder is Michelle's favorite artist, or at least that's what she revealed to Corden before she belted out, "Signed, sealed, delivered; I'm yours!" She also said that she thinks she knows "every Stevie song on the planet," so there's more proof that she really is a fan of Stevie Wonder's songs.

Between songs, Michelle told Corden that she's going to miss the people in the White House the most when the Obama family leaves after November. She also said she's looking forward to the freedom she and the family will have once they're out of the White House, and she reassured Corden that she can make her own grilled cheese sandwiches.

Honestly, though, Michelle's rendition of Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" was the cutest and most sassy thing I've seen from her, so that's worth watching immediately. I think it's safe to say that Carpool Karaoke was Michelle's perfect warmup for the Democratic National Convention where she'll be in the national spotlight again and where she'll finally be able to see the beginning of a more relaxed life.
