Here's The 2016 Olympics Women's Swimming Schedule

by Caitlin Flynn

The highlight of the summer is rapidly approaching. I am, of course, referring to the 2016 Rio Olympics Games, which kick off on Aug. 5. I love every event, but one of my personal favorites is women's swimming — and the United States has an amazing roster of swimmers this year. Missy Franklin, 21, made her Olympic debut in 2012 — and it would be an understatement to say that she made a major splash. (Pun intended — sorry, I had to.) At age 17, she brought home five medals — four of which were gold. Of course, she's not the only we should watch closely in Rio — newcomer Katie Ledecky has also established herself as a force to be reckoned with. We have so much to look forward to, so what's the 2016 Olympics Women's Swimming Schedule?

All the details are available on NBC's official schedule, and the times are fairly consistent — both the women's and men's teams compete at 12 p.m. ET and 9:00 p.m. ET each day until the finals on Aug. 13 and Aug. 15. As always, be sure to check your local listings — Olympic events air on multiple networks (not just NBC) and some are only available to stream online through NBC's website.

So, without further ado, here are the details of when women's swimming events will either air on TV or stream live on NBC's website:
