Luke Danes, you have some major competition. Ever since the Gilmore Girls trailer dropped Wednesday, many fans have been waiting to hear John Oliver's response to Lorelai Gilmore's question. As you probably recall (after watching it on a loop, like myself), at the end of the promo, Lorelai ponders, "Do you think John Oliver would find me hot?" You can probably guess how the Last Week Tonight with John Oliver host answered, because who doesn't find Lorelai hot? While appearing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Wednesday, Oliver reacted to the trailer and gave an extremely satisfying answer to Lorelai's question.
"Lorelai, the answer is yes, I do find you hot," he said. He didn't stop there and added, "And I'll tell you what, I'm a red-blooded male with an inbuilt heat detector and my heat detector registers you at en fuego." Oh snap, Lorelai, how do you feel about that? Seriously, if that doesn't leave her satisfied, I don't know what will.
What makes his response even better is the fact that he is also a Gilmore Girls fan. When Colbert brought up the beloved dramedy, which is being revived by Netflix, he mentioned how much he loves the series. Oliver echoed his sentiments and said, "Who isn't? Who isn't?"

Seeing as Oliver is a fan and Amy Schumer also loves Lorelai (the comedian was name-dropped in the trailer, too), the two should absolutely book a trip to Stars Hollow. If GG were to return with more episodes, can you imagine if Oliver and Schumer both made cameos? It would definitely be "en fuego."
