Mila & Ashton's Wedding Bands Are Very Affordable

by Nicole Pomarico

In a world where celebrity relationships often don't work out, there will always be at least one shining beacon of hope, and that is the love that is between Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher. From their first meeting as costars on That '70s Show to today, when they're married and expecting their second child together, Kunis and Kutcher have proven that they are clearly made for each other, and a new piece of information about their wedding day has made me even more sure about it. Kunis and Kutcher got their wedding bands on Etsy for just $190 total, and even though this should be surprising, it's totally not. Actually, their bands are just as low key as their entire relationship has been.

Kunis talked about their bands during her Wednesday appearance on Conan, when she revealed that it was only there she was able to find the skinny band she was looking for without breaking the bank. She said:

"My husband and I got married … and he got me a beautiful engagement ring. Like, stunning, stunning, stunning. But for our wedding bands, for when we got married, I decided to just get them off of Etsy. And so our wedding bands are from Etsy.”

It's pretty simple, and it's gorgeous — especially for being only $90. Here it is:

Not only is it awesome that Kunis is supporting smaller businesses by purchasing from an Etsy seller — and as someone who spends way too much time on the site, there are some seriously gorgeous pieces to be found there — but these bands are actually just a representation of how simple and quiet Kunis and Kutcher are as a couple. They're both huge stars who have a long history together, so when news broke that they were dating, it was a Big Deal. But they didn't try to make it that way themselves, and continued to be together quietly until one day more news broke that they were engaged. They even called their wedding a "ninja" effort, where they worked hard to make sure the media didn't find out about it before it happened. Easy, low fuss, and it definitely seems to be working for them and their growing family.

Don't get me wrong — I adore celeb couples who are in the spotlight. There's nothing I adore more than watching John Legend and Chrissy Teigen be adorable on Instagram, or seeing Kim Kardashian actually make Kanye West smile for once on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. But there's definitely something to be said for hiding from the prying eyes of the public when you're trying to keep a marriage together, and four years later, Kutcher and Kunis are still going strong.

I knew I loved these two for a reason. Just more proof that if you have all the money in the world, sometimes the simplest things still win out.
