Shoe crazy? Then this news will certainly excite you. Crazy shoe crazy? Well, then this news will definitely not excite you. Quirky designer Charlotte Olympia is launching new collections of shoes and handbags with a more conservative look to match the needs of everyday career women, reports WWD.
The sensible shoes will still have a bit of an Olympia touch with leopard print and peek-a-boo details, but will be boardroom appropriate with lower heels and fewer adornments. To pump up the quirk, though, each shoe will come in a briefcase box with a pair of pantyhose. The modern businesswoman’s tool kit, I suppose.
Here's hoping this doesn't mark the end of the crazy shoe designs that made Olympia a hit in the industry. She is one of the best in high concept accessories and unapologetically lives the “more is more” philosophy. Need proof?
