How Tammin Sursok Wants ‘PLL’ To End

It's difficult to trust anyone in Rosewood these days, but when it comes to a character as complex as Pretty Little Liars ' Jenna Marshall, you can never be too sure where her loyalties lie. Is she really as villainous as she appears? Was she somehow involved in Sara Harvey's death? These are all questions that have yet to be answered. But according to a recent chat Bustle had with Tammin Sursok, who plays Jenna on the show, her character's return will ultimately bring some old storylines back into play and see the Liars once again get haunted by the sins of their past.

"I definitely think, as far as we know, this is the last season as we know it like this, so there's a lot of loose ends they have to tie up," Sursok shares with Bustle. "That's why the characters come back into town. So a lot of the old stories will be brought up again." Could this perhaps be in reference to the N.A.T. Club? Considering the title of Tuesday's episode is "Original G'A'ngsters" and just so happens to coincide with Jason's return (an original member of the club), it seems like a definite possibility. But if it were up to Sursok, who also stars in her very own popular YouTube series In Bed With Tammin , she'd love to focus more on all of Jenna's past relationships with various characters instead.

"I'd like to see what happened with Toby," says Sursok. "I'd like to see with Jenna, does she have a love life? What does that look like? For fans, I think it would be nice to see that and have closure." Speaking of which, closure is definitely something that Jenna doesn't have yet, especially when it comes to her feelings about the Liars — a hatred that, according to Sursok, has only "gotten worse" over time. You know, because that's just what the Liars need right now... more enemies. And if it were up to her, Sursok would really enjoy seeing Jenna play an integral part in the show's eventual conclusion.

"As an actor, I would love to be involved in the finality of the show, meaning that I'm involved with A or am A or knew something about A," she says. "I think that's so exciting for a character and as actors we always want to play what's most fun." And given all the theories currently circulating throughout the PLL-verse, the actress may very well see that dream ending become a reality.

But whether Jenna is in cahoots with the mysterious A.D. or is somehow involved in Charlotte's death, you better believe she's a much bigger part of this story than meets the eye. And right now, she's got her sights (figuratively) set on bringing the Liars down.
