These Shoes Vibrate When A Pokemon Is Nearby

by Dasha Fayvinova

Technology is really winning this later half of the 2010s — whether it's virtual reality headsets or the augmented reality of "Pokemon Go," tech is making our lives easier and more entertaining by each month's release. The latest tech news features "Pokemon Go" shoes, a type of footwear that is designed to make your journey to becoming a Pokemon Master a breeze.

The people behind the shoe are calling it the Vixole Matrix, and the promotional video alone has gotten me so hyped up I've started the savings fund already. The shoes are not only super dope looking due to their sleek and futuristic design, but they also feature a thin LED layer which interacts with your smartphone in a new and inventive way. Basically, if you've seen those light up sneakers little kids wear and thought to yourself 'man, I wish I had those," then these kicks are for you. The LED lights can be programmed through your phone to display a variety of amazing images. You'll be the biggest hit at the next EDM festival.

In case you were hoping to purchase these bad boys in a store near you, I have some bad-ish news. The Vixole Matrix shoe will not be available for purchase until the launch of its parent company's Kickstarter in September. Then you will be free to donate to their campaign and be one of the first to receive the shoe. Below is the promotional video that popped up online:

Do you see what I'm talking about now?! Those shoes are basically the future and Marty McFly is salivating at the mere thought! My mind has gone blank due to all the possibilities this shoe display has for me and my "Pokemon Go" addiction.

Now I don't have to keep my phone in my hands the entire time I'm exploring the near by area. The shoes will vibrate and tell me if a wild Pokemon is close by. I wonder if this technology also works with Shake Shack locations ...

The other really cool feature is the shoe's interactivity with both your personal systems of communication as well as Google Maps. If you are like me and spend half of your day figuring out where to go, these shoes will vibrate and let you know when to make a turn. If you need to go left, your left shoe will vibrate. Right? Then your right shoe will buzz. That's the kind of directions I like. They will also vibrate to let you know if you have a text or if someone is calling you. I guess if you are a social media mogul these shoes are basically one giant foot massage. Look out for the Kickstarter in September to get your hands on a pair!
