Hating True Blood this season? Well, you'll get to hate it a little bit longer!

HBO announced Monday that it has picked up the vampire dama for a seventh season set to premiere in summer 2014. It's not entirely a surprising move, despite negative reviews for Season 6 — though ratings were down for its first premiere (thanks to the NBA Finals), numbers for the series have shot back up, leading to a steady stream of True Blood hate from fans who felt the series had lost its way.

Here's hoping Season 7 gives us what we really want: more sex.
