How Much Does A PSL Actually Cost?

All right, cold weather enthusiasts, it's time to rejoice: Starbucks' hallowed Fall drink is coming back to the menu! And if, in advance of the Sept. 6 release date, you've been wondering how much a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte costs —I have all the answers you need. After all, it's probably been more than a few months since you last had one of the these beloved treats warming up your heart and your stomach, so a little refresher of the relevant pieces of information might be in order.

And as it turns out, we might not all be waiting until Sept. 6, either — the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte returns to the market for select people on Sept. 1. Those select people include Starbucks Rewards members — and as an additional tip, those who follow the official Pumpkin Spice Latte Twitter account, @therealPSL, will get the insider information on how they can grab their PSLs a little earlier than the rest of us. For everyone else, the Pumpkin Spice Latte returns after Labor Day, where they'll launch in Starbucks stores nationwide.

So, the question remains: Just how much does a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte cost, anyway? As with most things in life, the Starbucks PSL will vary in price depending on where you are, availability of goods, demand, and so on. As of right now, though, you can expect to pay between $4.25 and $4.75 for a12-ounce Tall Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte.

According to Starbucks, our much-loved fall favorite comes with caffeine by default, but can be ordered decaf if that's how you roll. You can also order it hot, iced, or as a Frappuccino, because let's be real: In many parts of the country, it is still way too hot to desire a warm beverage, even if it's technically almost the start of Fall.

Aside from the signature espresso, Starbucks' PSL is made of real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and steamed milk, working together to create a familiar taste of autumn that will warm your taste buds all over again.

This price point makes it a sweet treat you can enjoy for about $5. I'd say that's a pretty reasonable way to welcome fall while we long for chunky sweaters and boots, right?
