'Real Housewives' Who Need To Move To Another City

With each new season of Real Housewives, fans can expect the addition of at least one or two new Housewives. Whether the new face is a replacement for a regular cast member who left or Bravo wants to spice up that particular franchise with someone viewers aren't familiar with, it's clear that to keep Real Housewives interesting a change-up in casting sometimes is a must. Think back to Season 5 of the Real Housewives of New York City when Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, and Kelly Bensimon were given the boot and replaced with Carole Radziwill, Aviva Drescher, and Heather Thomson. Whether or not you agreed with the switch, it worked out in the end for the better. With that said, why not talk about which Real Housewives should move to a different city? That would be a new way of switching things up, while still giving viewers a familiar face.

Don't act like you haven't thought about it, because I'm sure at one point or another you've been watching RHONY and thought, "Dorinda Medley would be a great addition to Real Housewives of New Jersey." That would be a genius move, right? Maybe Bravo should really try out moving Housewives to different cities and see what happens. Granted, the Housewives would have a say, because this is their lives and they may not want to move to a different city or state for a reality show. But this wouldn't necessarily have to be a permanent move; it could maybe just be for one season. Whatever the case, it would be an interesting change to an already entertaining series.

Even though it hasn't happened or may never happen, let's discuss which Housewives would be good fits to move to a different city.

Heather Dubrow --> RHOBH

Miss Fancy Pants herself belongs on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, doesn't she? I adore Heather on Real Housewives of Orange County, but she just seems like a better fit alongside Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards. She loves the finer, classier, fancier, and richer things in life, which seem to be all over the city of Beverly Hills. I don't see this as a permanent move for Heather, but more like a one season thing.

Bethenny Frankel --> RHOBH

It's no secret that Bethenny may leave RHONY , so rather than exiting the franchise altogether, maybe she should just transfer over to another Real Housewives? Seeing as she is friends with Kyle Richards already, she has an easy way of being introduced on RHOBH and entering Kyle's circle of friends. You know she wouldn't be shy as the new Housewife, either. Remember when she made a cameo on RHOBH Season 6? Yeah, she'd be a great fit for a few seasons and then she could make her triumphant return back to New York.

Dorinda Medley --> RHONJ

Dorinda is a great Housewife and the pot-stirring she brings to RHONY is enjoyable, yet also irritating. But, that pot-stirring of hers may do some good across state lines. If she were to exit New York and journey over to New Jersey, she'd definitely hold her own amongst the women of RHONJ. Jersey is no stranger to producing some heavy moments of tension, but sometimes the Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice feud gets old. Dorinda would be able to bring her own drama for at least a season or two.

Dina Manzo --> RHOBH

Now that former RHONJ star Dina Manzo lives in California and is done with her New Jersey reality show days, she has to join RHOBH. I can easily see her becoming a permanent, full-time Beverly Hills Housewife. Not only would she and LVP probably be best friends and bond over their love of animals, but Dina bringing a bit of the East Coast to the west would definitely add some much-needed life to RHOBH.

Yolanda Hadid --> RHONY

Seeing as Yolanda Hadid is done with RHOBH, maybe she should just transfer her Housewife status on over to RHONY? Who's with me? She already has the support of Dorinda if she decided to go to the Big Apple. Plus, Yolanda's daughters, Gigi and Bella Hadid, live in New York City, so that would make the move even easier. As much as I love the vibe she brings to Beverly Hills, I think become a New York Housewife on a permanent basis would be a great change for not only Yolanda, but also for fans.

Phaedra Parks --> RHOP

There's no doubt Phaedra Parks continues to make her mark on Real Housewives of Atlanta, but for at least one season, it'd be great to see her head on over to Real Housewives of Potomac. Living in Potomac, Maryland (which is near Washington D.C.), she could kill two birds with one stone. She could fulfill her political dreams and be a Housewife. Yes, she's showcased her political passions here and there in Atlanta, but she could do even more on RHOP.

Cynthia Bailey --> RHONY

If RHONY ever films during fashion week again, the might want to call up RHOA's Cynthia Bailey. This would be the perfect time for her to become a Housewife for a season. After all, Cynthia was a model, has her own fashion and modeling school, and created Cynthia Bailey Eyewear. Fashion week would be a great way to bring her into the mix.

Cary Deuber --> RHOBH

Cary Deuber is one of reasons I enjoyed the first season of Real Housewives of Dallas. So, I wouldn't want her to leave Dallas forever, but maybe head on over to RHOBH for one season. First, she knows Kyle Richards, which is a bonus. Cary is also a certified registered nurse and an operative assistant for her plastic surgeon husband, Mark Deuber. Now that Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif are no longer part of the franchise, Cary and her husband could fill that plastic surgeon void.

Ashley Darby --> RHOC

She brings some variety to RHOP, but I feel like Ashley Darby would fair better on RHOC. Not only could she and her fellow so-called "young" Housewife Meghan King Edmonds be besties, but I don't doubt that Ashley and Vicki Gunvalson would have either a great or horrible connection. They'd either be whooping it up together or fighting left and right. That's something I'd love to watch play out.

Gretchen Rossi --> RHOD

Just because Gretchen Rossi isn't a Housewife anymore doesn't mean Bravo can't bring her back to the franchise. But rather than her returning to RHOC, maybe she should head on down to Texas and become a series regular on RHOD. I mean, she attended Baylor University in Dallas, so she knows the ins and outs of the city. As for who she'd be friends with, I think she'd really get along with Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman and their poop obsession.

Brandi Glanville --> RHOA

Finally, there is former RHOBH star Brandi Glanville. Despite her not wanting to return to the franchise anytime soon, maybe Brandi would change her mind if she could head on over to RHOA. Those who watched her season of Celebrity Apprentice, probably recall how well Brandi and Kenya Moore got along. (Yes, that was laced with sarcasm — just look at the above gif.) Can you imagine the dramatics they would both bring to RHOA? It would be glorious for a season or two. All fights get old at some point, so whenever that happened, Brandi could head back to RHOBH.

Here's hoping some type of Housewives crossover happens in the near future, because that would make the franchise better than it already is.
